Pumapungo is an important archaeological complex that shows the cosmovision of the Inca culture, and its belief in the three worlds, a fact that is evident from the presence of the subway world manifested in the tunnel of more than thirty meters that leads to the ancient mausoleums.
The Pumapungo Museum has a conservation and restoration room; archeology, modern and contemporary art reserves; a historical archive and library.
